Refund Policy
1. Scope and payment seller
This Policy applies to StoryBam, a primarily business and professional SaaS product provided and supported by Rosetta Ventures FZ-LLC (“Rosetta”, “we”, “us”). For purchases completed through Paddle, Paddle is the Merchant of Record and authorised reseller. Paddle sells the subscription to the buyer and handles payment collection, payment-method processing, receipts, applicable indirect taxes, refunds and payment-related buyer support. Rosetta remains responsible for providing and supporting StoryBam.
2. How to request a refund
For a Paddle transaction, submit a request through Paddle buyer support. You may also contact info@storybam.com; where appropriate, Rosetta will help investigate and forward or support the request through Paddle. Rosetta does not promise or attempt to repay a Paddle transaction directly outside Paddle. Paddle processes any approved transaction refund.
3. General rule and possible grounds
Transactions are generally non-refundable except where a refund is required by mandatory law or accepted under the applicable Paddle Refund Policy. A request may also be considered for:
- a duplicate or demonstrably incorrect charge;
- a confirmed payment error;
- material non-delivery or a material service defect that Rosetta has not remedied within a reasonable period;
- another case accepted by Paddle under its applicable policy; or
- an express written commercial commitment made by Rosetta.
Paddle may approve, decline, partially approve or otherwise process a request according to its Buyer Terms, Refund Policy, payment-scheme obligations and applicable law. Any assessment is case-specific and is not a guaranteed 14-day refund.
4. Cancellation and access
Cancellation prevents future renewals when completed before the next renewal, but does not automatically create a refund for the current or renewed period. Unless mandatory law or Paddle requires otherwise, access normally continues until the end of the already paid billing period.
To the extent legally permitted, there is no automatic prorated refund or credit for unused time, partial use, failure to use StoryBam, removal of an Instagram permission, Meta or Instagram restrictions, customer configuration errors, cancellation after renewal, or account suspension caused by the customer’s breach.
5. Usage and fair assessment
Where legally permitted, refund eligibility may take account of actual usage and meaningful consumption, including campaigns created, rewards issued, operators invited and other material use of StoryBam. This does not limit a mandatory right or remedy for a faulty, misdescribed or materially undelivered service.
6. Consumers and mandatory rights
StoryBam is offered primarily for business and professional use. A person who nevertheless qualifies as a consumer retains every non-waivable withdrawal right, statutory guarantee and consumer remedy available under applicable law. If mandatory law, Paddle’s transaction terms or an express written Rosetta commitment provides greater protection, that protection prevails.
7. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact Paddle or StoryBam support before initiating a payment dispute, because support may resolve the issue more quickly. This request does not restrict any lawful card-scheme, bank or statutory chargeback right. Where Rosetta reasonably suspects a fraudulent or abusive dispute, it may temporarily restrict or suspend access while the matter is investigated, but only where lawful and without penalising a buyer for genuinely exercising a legal right.
8. Related terms and contact
This Policy forms part of the StoryBam Terms of Service and should be read with the Privacy Policy. For Paddle transactions, Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy govern the payment transaction. Contact StoryBam at info@storybam.com or use Paddle buyer support for payment, receipt, cancellation or refund assistance.
